All partners have an open door policy. This means that staff are always welcome to stop by to ask questions, seek advice or just have a chat. Due to our size, all staff have daily interaction with the partners.
CA Mentoring Program
The CA program is a challenging time for achieving your professional certifications. Our partners and managers are available to assist you during this period. They hold regular meetings and in-house training sessions to ensure you remain on focus.
New employees are partnered with more seasoned colleagues for guidance during the first six months of employment. Our peer support leaders will help with the transition into Pilot, ensuring that you immediately feel like part of the crew and that your expectations are being met.
Pilot hosts a number of functions and events throughout the year for staff. Our functions include Christmas and End of Financial Year parties, monthly morning teas, office drinks and charity fundraisers.
Social Club is run by the employees of the firm. All staff have the opportunity to participate in the monthly activities. The club usually meets on Friday evenings for after work drinks, movies, golf, trivia and even rock climbing! The events are a great way for staff from the different business divisions to interact outside of the office.
Activity is a core part of the firm’s culture. Pilot participates in a number of voluntary team sporting events throughout the year including touch football, soccer and netball.
Pilot is dedicated to supporting the Brisbane community. We provide financial support as well as devoting our people’s expertise and time to help others. Some of our charity initiatives include corporate sponsorships, pro bono work and fundraising activities.
Pilot is currently in the process of shifting to a paperless office. We also have active recycling programs in an effort to minimise our impact on the environment.
