Chartered accounting firm Pilot Partners has elevated Angela Stavropoulos and Kristy Baxter to partner.
The pair’s promotion from associate director recognises their outstanding contribution to the firm and their exceptional work ethic, the Brisbane firm said.
Pilot Partners managing partner Brian McDonald said the appointments were a testament to the firm’s dedication to fostering emerging talent from graduate level up to partnership.
“We are proud to announce the promotion of both Angela and Kristy to partner,” he said.
“They exemplify the firm’s commitment to nurturing dynamic and entrepreneurial professionals who are committed to seeing their clients meet their full potential.
“Angela and Kristy have worked with us for almost two decades and we are delighted that we can continue to guide them along the next chapter of their careers.
“These appointments are an extension of our ethos to encourage great relationships, not only with our clients, contacts and referrers but also with the people who work with us every day.”
Both Stavropoulos and Baxter play an integral part in Pilot’s Business Advisory team by providing tailored accounting and taxation advice to their clients. They are particularly well known for their expertise in the medical services industry.
“I am excited by the opportunity to join the partnership team at Pilot Partners,” said Baxter who has worked with the firm for almost 19 years.
“I have grown up in this firm and many of my fellow partners have guided and mentored me through my career to date. I have enjoyed the opportunities provided to progress my career and appreciated the flexibility available to me while working and raising a young family.”
As specialists in business planning, budgeting, structuring, cash flow forecasting and financial accounts analysis, the duo bring a wealth of knowledge and a network of strong relationships.
“Having worked with Pilot Partners for the past 17 years, I have a deep understanding of Pilot’s ethos and work culture and am proud to join such a diverse and talented partnership team,” said Stavropoulos.
“I look forward to bringing some new ideas to the table to continue to grow our firm with our wonderful clients, referrers and staff.”
