Pilot Partners is a local independent firm which is young, hungry and
refreshing. With a total of around 60 people and a strong specialised focus, we
help each client gain a sense of direction. Our firm consists of a number of
small divisions focused on their individual specialisation. By working together
we give our clients the expert advice they need. We are a medium size firm,
however our small teams mean that you are given the responsibility and also the
feeling and attention of a small firm, whilst our specialisation attracts the
differing and interesting work of a large firm. We are committed to ongoing
training and development as well as providing the opportunity to pursue
specialist areas of expertise.

I had started my accounting career out of university at one of the Big Four
firms. It was easy to feel like just another number in such a large and
structured organisation. I joined Pilot because I saw it as a place where I
could develop my interest in the forensic accounting area and make a real
contribution to the development of the firm. Pilot's medium size and focus on
staff provides the resources of a large firm while at the same time having a
small firm feel.

We have a number of social activities throughout the year that our staff attend
including our Christmas Party, End of Financial Year Party, Pilot Games,
Birthday Morning Tea’s, Melbourne Cup and Sports Days. Our people are important
to us so we make sure our work environment is fun, vibrant and flexible.
Pilot Games
Pilot Games is held the first Friday of each month and each team in the firm
competes to be the Pilot Plate Winner at the End of Financial Year Party. Each
team takes turns to organise Pilot Games so you can be involved in organising
the social activities for the firm.
Social Club
Our Social Club also organises functions each month. We have had loads of fun
activities including Race Days, Lawn Bowls, Dinner and Drinks, Sporting
activities, Outdoor Cinema Nights and even Karaoke for those brave enough!

Pilot recruit a number of graduates each year and we are committed to providing
our graduates the sense of direction they need when starting their career. With
this in mind we are committed to ongoing training and development as well as
providing the opportunity to pursue specialist areas of expertise.
Pilot encourages staff to complete their Professional Studies as early in
their career as possibly. We provide full support to students undertaking their
professional year. We provide full monetary support for enrolment fees and are
supportive of study and examination leave. Staff are also supported by the
Partners and Managers in their studies and are able to receive further study
assistance and guidance.
Each week we provide training for all staff to support their professional
development. We cover technical training but also personal and professional
development.
